Union Township

We were thrilled to bring seven sculptures by Seward Johnson to the bustling downtown area of Union Township, New Jersey, in partnership with the Township of Union to celebrate the opening of the new library. The exhibition was warmly embraced by the community, with residents and visitors enjoying the opportunity to experience Seward Johnson’s work in their everyday surroundings.

Following the conclusion of the exhibition, the seven sculptures returned, but the community’s enthusiasm for Seward Johnson’s work continued. In response, Catching Up was added to the downtown area and will remain on view through April 2027, giving residents and visitors an opportunity to continue enjoying Seward Johnson’s sculpture.
