WELCOME HOME AND OTHER STORIES

The sculptures in the gallery are selections from the retrospective exhibition created to honor artist Seward Johnson at Grounds For Sculpture. As you will note, these hand-picked tableaux represent two important series by Johnson, Icons Revisited and Beyond the Frame. These particular pieces have become visitor favorites and were thus chosen to remain available for viewing in this new gallery.

Also on view is a video of Seward Johnson exploring his creative inspirations and the origins of his sculpture career.
